Pastor Ezekiel Arrested

Televangelist Ezekiel Odero of New Life Prayer Centre and Church has been arrested for alleged public indoctrination. He was arrested a day after being interrogated for hours about allegations that his church is also involved in occultism. According to Coast Regional Commissioner Rhodah Onyancha, the pastor was apprehended in Makueni, Kilifi county.

She stated that this was due to allegations of deaths on his property. She also shut down the prayer center. “He’s being transported to Mombasa for grilling.” “More information will be made available,” she stated.

He denied the allegations in front of Kilifi detectives. The summons was prompted, according to police, by the ongoing exhumation of bodies from Shakahola Forest in the area from a farm linked to pastor Paul Mackenzie of Good News International Church.

According to officials, 95 bodies have been recovered from forest graves so far.
