Starlet Wahu Mwangi, the younger sister of Prophet Victor Kanyari, died at a South B, Nairobi Airbnb apartment at the age of 24.
John Matara, a middle-aged man accused of the murder, was captured by the Industrial Area Police Station.

On December 27, she flaunted her attractive physique in an alluring bodycon dress while admiring her wig inside her luxurious car in her most recent video upload.
Wahu, wearing in a short red dress, was shown in a CCTV video strolling with a male as they used the lift to enter an apartment complex.
The following day, law authorities received a distress call from the building’s manager, who reported a murder at the aforementioned flat.
When the police arrived, they discovered that the property had been secured from the outside, requiring them to forcibly enter.
During this admission, they discovered the lifeless body of a young woman in the living room, lying in a pool of blood.
Police examinations revealed that the victim had bruises and stab wounds on her thighs, indicating that she attempted to flee the residence before succumbing to her injuries.
Authorities quickly secured the scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
According to preliminary investigations, the couple leased the apartment for a night out.

Several items were recovered from the site, including an HIV testing kit with a negative result, indicating earlier testing for both people.
Used condoms, the victim’s clothing, a mobile phone, alcohol, and a knife thought to be the murder weapon were also discovered.
“The case is still being investigated.” “We want to find out what motivated this heinous murder,” Commander Nyongesa said.
Detectives were able to track the suspect’s phone down to a local hospital in Nairobi, where he was being treated for a stab wound.
