Roger Whittaker Death

Roger Whittaker was a British singer-songwriter and musician who was born to English parents in Nairobi, Kenya. He is noted for his baritone singing voice and whistling abilities, and his music is an eclectic combination of folk music and popular melodies.

Whittaker’s first album was published in 1960, and he went on to have a remarkable career lasting more than 60 years. His most successful songs include “Durham Town,” “New World in the Morning,” “The Last Farewell,” and “Morning Has Broken.”

Whittaker was also a prominent television and radio artist, and he toured extensively around the world. He was especially well-liked in Germany, where he made several albums and received numerous accolades.

Whittaker died at the age of 87 on September 18, 2023. He will be remembered as a gifted musician as well as a friendly and engaging performer.
