Njogu Wa Njoroge Biography
Njogu wa Njoroge is a well-known Kenyan media personality who has a large fan base among the Gikuyu language speakers. He was born in Nakuru County and grew up in Njoro where he attended primary and secondary school.

He joined Dayster University where he studied journalism and mass communication. He also has a diploma in public relations and marketing from Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
Njogu Wa Njoroge Career
He started his career as a football commentator in 2001 when he auditioned for a job at KBC. He then moved to KBC in 2003 where he hosted his own show called “Njogu na Nyawira” which became very popular.
He later joined Kameme FM, a vernacular radio station owned by Mediamax, where he became a household name with his show “Arahuka” which tackled social and political issues. He also hosted shows on Kameme TV and online platforms such as YouTube and Facebook. He has won several awards for his work, such as the Kalasha Award for Best Vernacular Radio Presenter in 2019.
He has also been involved in politics and activism. He vied for the Njoro MP seat on a UDA ticket but lost in the primaries. He has been vocal about supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2023.
He has also been instrumental in mobilizing funds for various causes such as education, health, and empowerment of women and youth. He was recently appointed as the chairperson of KFCB by CS Ababu Namwamba, a state agency that regulates films and broadcasts in Kenya.
Njogu Wa Njoroge Wife
He is married to Mary Lincoln, a fellow media personality who works at Inooro FM. They have three children together: two sons and one daughter.It is rumoured that Njogu met his wife Mary Lincoln in 2017 when they were both working at Kameme FM.
Mary is a gospel singer who has three daughters from her previous relationship. They started dating and later formalized their union in August 2020 in a traditional wedding ceremony attended by family and friends. Njogu is polygamous and has another wife who lives separately.
