Karen Nyamu Biography

Karen Nyamu is a Kenyan politician, advocate, lawyer, social media influencer, and an entrepreneur. She was born on January 1, 1987 in Nyeri County and grew up there. She is the second of three children in her family. Her father was a high school principal, and both her father and mother were teachers.

She is a mother of two; a daughter whom she had with her ex DJ Kelvin and a son whom she had with musician Samidoh. She is currently the director at Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company and owns her private law firm called Njeri Nyamu & Co Advocates.

Karen Nyamu Education

Karen Nyamu graduated from University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. She is a practicing advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Karen Nyamu Political career

Karen Nyamu is a Kenyan politician and an advocate. She started her political career in 2017 when she ran for the position of Woman Representative for Nairobi County on a Jubilee Party ticket. She came second in a close race but gained popularity for her ability to bring people together and speak her mind (Hence her name Youth President). She is currently a Director at Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company and a nominated senator by Kenya Kwanza Government.

• She was a popular candidate for Nairobi Women Rep post on a Jubilee ticket in 2017.
• She financed her own campaigns with the help of her clients and friends.
• She is currently a nominated senator by Kenya Kwanza Government.

Karen Nyamu and Samidoh Affair

Karen Nyamu and Samidoh are two public figures from Kenya who have been involved in a controversial affair. As we established earlier, Karen Nyamu is a lawyer and politician, while Samidoh is a popular singer of Mugithi music. They have a daughter together who recently celebrated her first birthday. Their relationship has been marked by drama, such as accusations of violence and cheating.

It is said that Karen Nyamu and Samidoh met in 2019 when he was performing at a political event. They liked each other and became good friends. Later, they started a romantic affair that resulted in their daughter’s birth.

Their affair became public in February 2021 when Karen Nyamu confirmed that Samidoh was the father of her son. Samidoh later admitted to having an affair with her and apologized to his wife and fans. Karen Nyamu claimed that she did not know that Samidoh was married.
Their affair has been rocky since then, with allegations of violence, cheating, pregnancy and breakups. They have also exchanged messages on social media expressing their love or frustration with each other.

Edday Nderitu

Samidoh’s wife, Edday Nderitu, has reacted to his affair with Karen Nyamu in different ways. In March 2021, she wrote a letter on Facebook expressing her pain and humiliation due to his infidelity. She also said that she forgave him and prayed for him. In August 2021, she defended him from online trolls who mocked him for being beaten by Karen Nyamu.

In November 2021, she professed her undying love for him on Instagram and told off fans who claimed that she was desperate.

Samidoh’s wife reaction this year (2023)has been mixed. On Febraury 2023, She wrote another letter on Facebook after Karen Nyamu and Samidoh were seen together at a funeral, where she said that she was hurt and disappointed by his actions. She also warned him that she would not accept a polygamous marriage.

However, she also received support from other women, such as Amira, who comforted her and advised her to stay strong. She also got praise from Martha Mwihaki Hinga, who said that she was a role model for other women going through similar situations.

By the look of things, this is not the end of the affair and controversies between Karen, Edday and Samidoh. We can only wait and see how things will unfold.
